FBX-thrust bearing is composed of thrust needle roller and cage assemblies or thrust cylindrical roller and cage assemblies, and the thrust washer(s). Needles or cylindrical rollers are retained and guided by the cage. When it is used together with different types and series of washer, varies of combinations can be deployed. If the surface of connecting parts is suitable for raceway, the washers can be ignored.
Main structure frame:
AXK: Thrust needle and cage assemblies
AXW: Rust needle and cage assemblies with central stamping cover
AX: Thrust needle bearing with controlling ring
Thrust cylindrical roller and cage assemblies main types are K811, K817.
AXK type thrust needle roller and cage assemblies is the primary element of thrust needle bearing. Needles are retained and guided by the radial disposed cassette cage or M type cage. The cage is formed of steel strip and steel plate, the cage in small size is made of plastic, the needles are group G2 high precision needles which are sorted in 2μm of diameter, so as to make sure that the load are distributed equally. AXW type thrust needle bearing is composed of an AXK type thrust needle roller and cage assemblies, and a drawn cup center cover, actually the drawn center cover is the drawn washer added of a center cover. The main components of AX type thrust needle roller bearing is AXK type assemblies and thrust washer, and was connected by the controlling ring. Thrust cylindrical roller and cage assemblies is similar with AXK type assemblies, a group of cylindrical rollers are retained and guided by the radial disposed windows of entity cage, it can endure high thrust load.
Thrust washers
Thrust washer(s) main types are AS, WS, GS and LS series.
AS series thrust washer is drawn by high quality spring steel, the thickness is 0.8mm or 1mm, raceway has hardened and polished. It is mainly used when the adjacent parts hard to hardened, but have enough rigidity and geometry precision situation. The washer surface should be fully supported. It is usually used together with thrust needle roller and cage assemblies.
WS, GS and LS are entity washers made from hardened bearing steel and surface has grinded and polished. The GS surface and LS bore have grinded. The entity washers are usually used together with thrust cylindrical roller and cage assemblies.
